Torchwood

Saw adverts on ABC for Season 3 of Torchwood.... loved the first 2 seasons of it, so will talk some friends into buying the new season, as they have the other 2.
Also learnt today that Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who!!
Looking at site selling scifi -
http://www.dvdorchard.com.au/tvDVDA....he=0%2E8549311

and there are 5 seasons of Andromeda there, never made it to Aus free to air.
What was Andromeda like???

Andromeda is alright Liz. It's not mainstream, and if you can get over the fact that Kevin Sorbo is in the lead role it's not too bad.

Children of the Earth, however, is brilliantly gripping at its conclusion, and was some of the best television of the year I reckon. Very, very watchable and quite emotive.

Cant believe I have missed the first 2 episodes of Torchwood I can watch them on ABC iVIEW but my broadband is a bit slow, so breaky breaky viewing.
Yeah, Jack is a bit of a kisser!!
Finished 'Defying Gravity' - it was OK, watchable.

Warren, I meant that I missed the first 2 episodes of Season 3 that have already been on ABC.

Right I am really enjoying the show I like stuff that is not to bloodthirsty and there is not much of that around I can handle some but some programs seem to think that seeing everything is essential and I don't.

Love Torchwood.
It was interesting the way they introduced Torchwood in a few episodes of Doctor Who. I like the link between the two shows. Captain Jack has appeared in a couple of episodes of Doctor Who, I wonder if the Doctor will reciprocate.

Capt Jack was in that last episode of Dr Who. So sad, but sweet too.

"The End of Time" David Tennent's last foray as the Doctor.
I've watched it twice and cried both times.

Jack Harkness actually mentioned the doctor in last nights episode he said "I am a fixed point in time and space that's what the doctor said" when asked by Yonto whether he thought he would ever die.

I think Torchwood is amazing, its so absorbing that I always get a shock when the end credits come, then I go nooo! I wasn't finished watching that. Then you have to wait a whole week for the next episode.
