Hindmarsh Island time lapse

I took this time lapse on the 19/5 hoping to see the aurora. Initially good space weather and bad terrestrial weather were forecast but it turned out the other way around. I did get to see lightning off in the distance.

Very nice Steven. I see a fishing rod and line in the second image. Did you catch anything?!

That wasn't me. Someone decided to go fishing at midnight. That is the source of the bright lantern in the middle of the video.

Well done Steven. I had not considered Hindmarsh Island. I take it this is opposite the mouth at Sugars Beach?

For panning I use an old equitorial mount with the R.A. axis pointing up. The tilting is done in post using premiere pro.

Yes, this is the boat ramp on Sugars avenue.
