For the R/C Helicopter people here.

This came across my desk today, amazing the price on these things, not sure how good they are.I know there are a few people here who are into
R/C helicopters-I'd be curious to see the results from images. Our kids have similar, and they are amazing to watch.

Very interesting Chris, I have always wanted to dabble in building a helicopter one day, probably would crash it on the first attempt I reckon, but they sure would be fun.

Hi Chris,
Wouldn't waste your dosh on that one.
The infra red controlled ones are indoors only as in normal daylight they fail badly, the infra red that is. also those particular ones if they are still the same as the one I picked up in a raffle are not the best to fly based on a good quality one.
Having said that those units are well enough made they just fly differently to the better units with the proper radio controls.

I agree with what Ken said.
Totally useless toys.
You're much better off to look at, at least, a fixed pitch heli.
They can be had for around $70.00 RTF (ready to fly), & can be flown out doors in a little breeze.
They are also on 2.4 GHz.
