Very nice indeed - just a pity about the tilt or coma or
whatever has caused the elongation of stars on the top left & right of the frame -
& also bottom right hand corner

Yes, it's field curvature plus some focuser tilt--driving me nuts trying to at least get balance in all corners. I should investigate a FF.

Hi Geoff,
Sometimes it can be just the way you screw everything together.
The scope needs to be upside down & pointing directly upwards
when you screw threads in for spacers & the camera.
We are in a difficult hobby when even a 5 micron tilt can cause problems.
Best of luck with it as I'm sure you'll iron it out.

Really good result Geoff, and yes indeed, you can see some of the elusive outer perpendicular extensions ...Wiruna?

Just that dark halo around the main galaxy star halo that has me a tad quizzical...?
