Which 50mm?

Finally found the rings I need for the guider project I had in mind off-the-shelf (Borg 50mm rings), now to decide scope.

I have 2 50mm scopes to use. Either:
1. Meade (Circle T Towa Japanese made) Model 220 achromat
2. Orion minifinder guider

I currently use the Orion held in standard finder bracket, and it is OK, but still feel it leaves a LOT to be desired with the lens shift focus (and the position of the camera focus). It's "OK".

The Meade/Towa is in SUPER condition (I resprayed it white from the scarred blue it was, ex-Lars Hansen. Bonus of course is it has a R&P focuser (stiff enough to hold well), has great optics (the Towa's aren't bad!), and I had an step adapter 0.965" to 1.25" made already, and added a drawtube extension too.

I am thinking the Meade is going to give me better results than the Orion, though of course the tube lengths are VASTLY different.

Opinions appreciated.
