New moon weekend!

New moon weekend this weekend.. what are you up to?

Some deepsky observing or photography?

I've got sister-in-law and her husband coming over for dinner, was hoping to give them a session under the stars, but the weather looks like it's not going to cooperate..

How are you going to spend new moon weekend, astronomy related, that is

Yes I wanted to do some imaging out in the scrub this weekend, but like you the weather is very wet at present, and I don't think it will improve.

Might be clear for sydney-siders tonight, but they're predicting rain tomorrow night..

Might have to drag my sleepy tired-after-a-long-week arse off the lounge tonight and head outside.

Although my wife probably wants me to stay on the lounge, after I was late last night.. had to work 12 hours :/
