Moon Jupiter Occultation through bushfire smoke Melbourne

A last minute decision I decided to head to Olivers Hill Lookout at Frankston overlooking the beach with Greg Walton and Alex Cherney.

9pm car is packed and off I go, 5 mins down the road realized I left my camera on the table $&*#, quick uturn grab camera and off I go again.

Up untill about 11pm the sky was beautiful and right on 11:33pm of course the bushfire smoke and some cloud make it difficult seeing.

Despite the results it was a great night!

Home by 1am, asleep by 2:30am, up at 7am for work lol

All images taken with the 1100D through the ED100
First Image ISO100 1/60sec
Image 2,3,4,5 ISO 400 1/4 sec (had to up the ISO to see though the bushfire smoke)

A super adventure - left the camera on the table! You have a great record of the event!
