William Optics quality?

I'm looking for an inexpensive wide angle eypiece for an upcoming kinder star party I'm running and I have a really good price on one of these;

William Optics SWAN 40mm (2") Eyepiece 72 degree

My aim is to show them the moon and then show them some wide angle star shots (M45) etc. Can you tell me how the above ep would perform in a f/4.9 Dob as I plan to use the ep personally after the star party. Would a 42mm GSO Superview be just as good?

Tele Vues and even the Meade 5000s while preferable are out of the question for the kinder party for obvious reasons (they cost a heap and will get pizza hands all over them!)

Cheers, John.

atf4.9 the edges wouldn't be pretty, the GSO would prob be close to the performance of the WO unit
look for secondhand ep's

John I have an Astrotech Titan 40mm , 2 inch , and even in my Sky90 at f/5.5 it gives good views out to 80-90% , but I mainly use it in my 2415mm f/l Tak M210 , thats where these really shine .
Brian.
