Moonrise

First nightscape taken in 2013.

This is what happens when the moon is about to rise on the horizon and a bit of cloud is in the perfect spot. Wish I had been proactive and been in a better location, but this was a "quick grab the camera and point it out the door" kind of moment.

That's really impressive-your sure to get gongs for that!-Send it into astro magazine and apod etc.
