Geminids + Pre-dawn satellite traffic

Here's a composite of the Geminids I captured on camera last week (attached, larger version below):

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13644418/ii...ositeLarge.jpg

Two of brightest meteors I captured on the night weren't Geminids (attached). Their directions pointed nowhere near the radiant of the Geminids.

I also put together the time lapse frames from the hour leading up to dawn into another short video (7 MB):

http://itee.uq.edu.au/~davel/SpaceTr...pse2-24fps.mp4

Highlights include another couple of bright meteor trains (bottom-left corner at 5 seconds & just below centre at 8 seconds) - different to the ones previously posted, numerous Geminid meteors, and many satellites criss-crossing the field. It's a busy sky up there!

That was so very, very cool! I could see both trains. The second one required a little bit more careful viewing.

Thanks Mike, H & David. The skies here have been clouded out every day since the Geminids/new moon!
