Mirror by Discovery Telescopes Ca
Diffraction limited Discovery mirrors are so good, because they are hand figured by a well known optician. The Optition is not advertised because it is a condition in the contract between the two parties, (It is common knowledge that Terry Ostahowsky did in the past provide this service, food for thought). 17.5 mirrors are produced at the highest standards, Bill at Discovery has not had any mirrors returned to him, this is a testament to his scopes.
RMS 0.037
Strehl Ratio 0.95
S/N 17.5 - 87.0 - 10 - 04 17

When seeing is good and the mirror has cooled you will observe:
· outstanding planetary detail, Jupiter's moons are seen as disks, there are beautiful festoons of cloud, Saturn's cloud bands and rings will provide amazing views time and time again and the moon is close enough to touch.

· My wife is a true convert to astronomy, deep space objects are her real passion and this scope delivers. You will see colour in M42, Eta Carinae Nebula has produced detail in the Homonculus, the dark lanes are clear and contrast is bright.

· Omega Centauri NGC 5139 is a crowd pleaser as is the Tarantula Nebula NGC 2070, the Sombrero Galxy M104 and the Ring Nebula M57 are stunning.

There is a lifetime of viewing with this scope, I use the following eye pieces regularly, Nagler 31mm, 20mm and 9mm my Ethos 13mm and Delos 6.5 with great detail .

The scope is loaded with the good stuff and
ready to go to any object in the sky…..
