Oh boy, that's just what everyone who worked there needed. No jobs,just before christmas.
I see they have 4 kids in custody over it.
Think of all the kids who will miss out on xmas, all those laybys, gone.
Mate ! this sux , If these 4 are convicted over this they should be made to pay back every cent in rebuilding , loss of revinue and jobs , even if it takes all their lives !!! .
Fat chance tho , a smack over the wrist with a wet bus ticket is all they will probably get .

That's terrible so close to Xmas. I reckon those kids are still young and should be given a real big dose of community service when they rebuilt, including the place clean-up and helping businesses owners getting back on their feet. That's going to be hard work and maybe they'll share the pain.
Sometimes, Peter, kids just grow up bad, and there's not a thing parents or anyone else can do about it.
Sadly, that is true. It's the nature/nurture dichotomy thing isn't?
There just isn't a simple solution to it, and no one punishment that fits all. What you can be sure of is that they probably think what they have done is funny or clever and there is a great school of similar juvenile monsters who agree with them.
