Hi all,
My wife and I spent our 10th anniversary at Iguazu Falls last week! Being a special event we decided to splash out and do it in style, staying at a very plush hotel on the Brasillian side, inside the park. Of course I had another motive

. I've always wanted to shoot the falls in moonlight. Well, it turns out the only way to achieve this is to sleep inside the park...it's closed to all other visitors at 6pm...and there's only one hotel!
We arrived around full moon and were lucky to have clear skies for 2 nights. One of the nights they ran a moonlight tour for interested guests, which we hopped on to get our bearings. The second night I went out by myself, took some shots and generally enjoyed the full on experience.
The shot here is from the viewing platform in the middle of the falls. Spray is everywhere and I had to cover my camera in a towel and pull off the lens cap at the last moment. Just enough time for one or 2 images. No way to do time-lapse - unless you have a spinning rain deflector. 16mm, 20s, iso800,f/2.8.
I'll post a couple more when I have better connection. On the second leg of the trip now in northern chile...about to get very cold and tired.
ps. Added 2nd image. The first image was taken from the viewing platform at centre right.
pps And a 3rd from above.
