Another Aurora Australis image 15th7/12

Hello

I made a 30 sec video of the Aurora I captured on the 15th July
I picked the best frame and played with it with PS.
This image was taken from the Point Leo Lookout Victoria.
Pentax K-x @ 3200 iso 30 sec sub
Samyang 14mm F/2.8 Lens

Regards Paul.

Thanks Dave
I would love to travel further south so to capture the curtaining green and red.

Aurora Australis is, maybe, more difficult for observing (than the Borealis one), because the southest town is situated only in -55 latitude, so you can be happy that you managed to see it. About photo: a good one, interesting combination of diffused, not dotty, light: Magellanic clouds, The Milky Way and the aurora australis!

Beautiful photo... very jealous, of both being in the right location for it and your photography talent.
