really did not think they would win-pitty the chap who got the ball, and ran so far but got tackled and was just out of reach of line and hit posts-really would have been good to beat them by a bit more.
The chaps with those big lenses would have some good shots of NSW players just after horn went off-real despair /anguished looks-read a book on photography and it mentioned sports, and not always take photos of winners.
A picture tells a story, and those were real pained looks,oh well if the photographers did not get any images of pained looking NSW players just after full time-there will always be next year
As an ardent New South Welshman living in Queensland I would just like to point out that Queensland is now a year closer to losing a series. When exactly that will be I don't know but I console myself with that thought!!

A very sad Blue,
Mario
Like your way of thinking, put a smile on my face
Its quite an event this three match contest,a real atmosphere it brings,I must say I was most impressed by NSW supporters in second game-all those blue wigs in the crowd-someone must have made a fortune selling them.
Its a great time of year, regardless who wins or looses.Crispy cool conditions.Check out the frost on car this morning and last night.

We will have had time to convert you before that happens Mario Lets face it you would be happier if you did convert
Logic demands that next year's Origin matches will be hard fought and NSW will have a better chance of winning.
The longer a winning streak goes, the sooner it will end, so to speak.
The mathematics of chance determines that 8 wins in a row is a tall order.
Yet, the next round there is a 50-50 chance that Qld will win or NSW.
It will be interesting to see the next round. Will it be 8? Or will it be one in a row?

I'm an AFL fan anyway.
There is one sporting event that goes against these odds the Americas Cup had a 132 year winning streak even though the Americans did it by cheatingone case in point is when Dennis Conner sailed a Catamaran against a Monohull boat.
I had that in mind too, Warren. I decided it was not a fair sporting event and does not belong in the count.
You acknowledged that it may be inadmissable.
However there will be more eyes on the State of Origin in 2013. Eight or one?
Cheers
Mal Maninga said he thinks they will win 10 in a row I think that is a bit of a stretch although I would love to see it. To think the whole origin started because all of QLD's players always played for NSW in the Pre Origin era and QLD could never win as our best players were always against us. Which is how the Origin legend began and when Big Artie Benson came out and hammered his best friend it was on from then to now.
Being a Victorian that has lived in NSW and now Qld I have become accustom to the game.
I was at the game on Wednesday night and I must say it is funny to see adults carrying on the way they do.
Alcohol + low IQ's = funny!
