Venus Transit in visible light

Here is the second installment of my Venus 2012 images. In the visible spectrum this time.

I packed both Mylar film and a Hershel Wedge....the latter proved to be far superior in clarity and contrast.

Here is the White light image

The image is lovely, but incorrectly labeled as CaK?
I also found the wedge far better than the mylar film filter, but about the same as the Baader Astro Film filter I made.

Excellent. I am looking forward to getting my Herschel wedge now. This gives me some idea of what the view will be like.

Have to admit that is a ripper Peter, not taking away from the many other beautiful shots I have seen over the last day or two.
