Venus an amazing day

Got up early to cloud and that didn't change until mid transit.
I had setup under my carport as it looked so bad but around 11ish I got a break for a few shots.
My lovely wife Carol looked after me with food and drink.
This was followed by heavy cloud for the next couple of hours, at 2:30 I thought it was all over for me but wait a sucker hole a few more shots close to the end and then gone.
I sat there watching with finger on the trigger and then at precisely at 2:44 a ray of light and WOW final contact and it was gone again.
How lucky was that hey.

Hope you like the shots.

Edit oops better put the pictures in

Really nice work there Ken, and wonderful candid shots add to the event

Like you I was able to leave my PST set up traking and quickly dived to the eyepiece whenever a hint of sunshine (rare) showed.

It was a fun (but also frustrating) day.
At least I can say i saw it (and even managed to get the wife to take a peak)

cheers
