Jupiter two weeks ago

Just to put my money where my mouth is, I took these a couple of weeks ago and got Europa's moons. Seeing was 2/10 and I captures only for 90 seconds. About 600 frames from memory. Claw away.

I'd like to get that colour for my Jupiters Paul. I gather you're using your new toUcam. Do you recall what settings you've been using? f ratio? etc

Maybe try let capture time. Jupiter will have rotated quite a bit in 90 sec. Any of the one's I've taken that have been any good have all been 60 sec or below

Yea Toucam, white balance to auto and then off just before capture starts. 1/25 of a second, gain to 40%, Saturation to 90%,
Brightness down to 25 % , cant remember the rest.

Must fly now and catch a plane. Sorry going to Sydney. Mike ring me, might be able to catchup.

Focus looks a bit soft (porobably due to seeing), but nice colours. When the seeing is so bad, either go back to bed, or try at a reduced image scale.

I like your second shot better, because it looks sharper. Nice job.
