Frogmouth and Kite families and a macro start

Haven't had much of a chance to post images lately, but here are some from the little Frogmouth family near my work, the Square-tailed Kites near home and one of a Hunstaman close up with the Canon 100mm f2.8 macro that I've just acquired.

Good work Patrick. I think the 100mm macro is made especially for huntsman and wolf spiders.

Beautiful profile shot of the spider dude.

Well, thankyou very much Paddy .... NOT!!

Looking at the images, and loving the owl ones, sooo cute, then came to the last image and couldnt work out what it was. (should have read your post properly ). So, having a real close look, then read some of the comments =
If I hada known it was Huntsman I wouldnt have looked at it!! now am all creeped out.

Putting the ... spider aside ..... great images, the baby owls are gorg and like no 1 the best, certainly not no 8!!

Sorry Liz, I'd forgotten how some people find spiders. Next time I'll put a warning "may contain images of arachnids" Perhaps as it's a close up it could just be something from Dr Who.
