HELP!- Images plus align function

with the 2.75 version of Images plus I cannot get the alignment function to work. In the video tutorials it works very well for Mike in the video and even leaves a brown square around the star selected and then processes it. For me it does not do this, i choose the star but it does not leave a square, or any mark for that matter, it just doesn't want to work. what should happen, how exactly should it happen?

Hi Dave

From memory:

Are you doing "Translate" only?
Is "Point" ticked?
Is "Auto advance after select" ticked?
Are you using "Shift" "Click" to select the star?

That is all I can think of, although I am running V2.5

Cheers

Dennis

Sounds like your not holding down the shift button.

Only use correlate if you have had good tracking meaning the star you picked is in the same position on all exposures.

I normaly use Translate & Rotate and pick Centroid..this means you will have to pick 2 points on every image so their aligned properly.

I have sent you a PM
