Looping magnetic solar prominence

Something just a little special today on Sol. Right on the limb was a looping solar promince. I have often seen images of these events but this is my first image of one. This image is with a 3x barlow. I am processing data for a mosaic, but for now this should show what I am talking about.

That's interesting, Paul. Have you tried making a video of one of these, through the entire cycle? It would be cool video.
