Hi all
While I had a lend of Houghys Modded 300D camera I put on my 50mm F1.8 lens and carefully sat my unmounted Baader 7 Nm H Alpha filter on top of the UV cover filter that I leave on the lens, and shot the eta carina area
a single 285 sec. shot @f1.8 and ISO 1600, only the red channel was used, and converted to greyscale, no dark or flat fielding. Focussing was trial and error as one cant see a thing through a 7 nm H alpha filter.
Thanks Tony
I just went and had a look, he does have some good images there. gee the narrowband ones need a lot of exposures, no doubt due to the narrow band of transmission of the filters.
