Is this FLAT ok

Hi,

I have added flats I took to my Omega Centauri data and wonder if the flat is OK. I used Al's virtual lightbox and did 20 x 5 sec exposure on each LRGB channel and adjusted the light box brightness on the computer screen so the histogram was in the same spot for each filter. Could someone pplease have a look at the images as when I did my first curves stretch I got a couple of camel humps in my stretched histogram in the levels box. The humps were there as soon as I opened the curves box. Advice????? Take up another hobby

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark, have you adjusted focus or shifted the orientation of the camera since taking the OC shots? If so you won't be able to use those flats anyway.

Ezcap histo looks fine. Not sure about the humps

Hi Paul,

No I took the scope of the mount but did not touch the focus or orientation. I think the histogram looks OK too but yes those humps are a little wiered as without the flats when I processed it looked like a normal curve.
