Spectacular Night-Time Pics From The ISS.

Crikey, have a look at these gorgeous shots taken at night time from the International Space Station. The electricity some of these countries use will make your eyes pop. It seems London's lights shine the brightest. I can't imagine trying to scope amongst all that light pollution.

I suspect the link would be http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/st...ery/index.html and images 17, 26, 27 and 28 specifically.

Cheers
Chris

They are cool shots, but the one that has got me stumped is the Andes shot looks like a massive crater.

Hi Malcolm, hubby was just looking at that shot no more than 10 mins ago and he was stumped on it too and wondered if it was a crater.

I saw that first hand in July when flying from USA east coast to west coast on a night flight, was amazing to see the spread of light pollution visible from up in the air

All of those are beautiful, even if they were taken with a Nikon. : P

The shot that gets me the most is the one of the Nile. Amazing.
