Webcam or Digital Camera?
Heyy folks,
which is better for planetary piccies through a newt? a webcam or a digital camera fixed to the eyepiece with an adapter? it would be video capture and processed through registax...

A web cam is the way to go.The SPC900nc is great.

Ditto for the web camera . You can buy spa ialized planetary video cams, nut the webcam will get you up and running.

I got Ken to order one for me complete with adapter, flash it and mail it from the UK.
About 2 weeks. The only tricky bit is levering off the front ring so you can unscrew the lens and fit the adapter.
