Shocking weather, I agree. It's made it's way up here too. Can't see much imaging happening this weekend.
Time to dig out that old data and work on some repro's.

Last night was very bad.

It bucketed down all night and we are under water here. My paddocks are a lake and most of our town is flooded out.

They are evacuating people from Creswick because it is under water.

Lots of wet stuff!

In 2006 I was going to call in and see you on my way back from WA, You had Bush Fires,in 2010 again you had 40deg C temperature's nearly every day and now you have floods
Now I am glad I live where I live
Best of luck

Yep Ken it is a bugger, a real winter experience, but it is all to quick, man I have not seen so much water in one day for many years, one would have to wonder were it all comes from, as long as everyone is safe, that is the main issue.

Leon, are you getting this massive damaging wind that has just developed in the last hour?

My roof sheets are banging up and down and the whole house is shaking

Geez, what else is coming? This is scarey!

Winds picking up here. Now reaching 80k's in parts of Melb.

110km/h gusts recorded down in Warnambool and Port Fairy is getting a sandblasting http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDV60...01.94830.shtml

then you have Mt Hotham with winds up to 137km/h and 110mm of rain today.

Now we have this to deal with:

My dam and paddock have merged.

One good thing is there has not been one call out in our area today. That is good, people are being sensible and careful on the roads.

Still raining here, I look over the upper yarra valley and it's got flooding all down the flats,
SES radio constantly busy with fallen power lines, trees and flooding.

Wind has gone here with patchy blue skies.
The weather man got the amount of rain wrong here as they said 20-40mm when in real terms only had 3mm.

Hope you fellas are all fairing well.

Cheers Kev.
