FS 60C and SSAG

Hi! anyone use an FS 60C as a guide scope and also use the SSAG? I'be interested to know what sort of connections they have used- (I Have an "SD" ring" or something like that or order from Claudio) but would be interested it what people have used for guiding set up.

I initially put a cheap 1.25" diagonal in it to achieve focus with my qhy5. Since then I have put a camera rotator on it with a flattener and attach the qhy5 directly to that via a cheap M52 female to M42 male adapter I got off ebay.

I think it's a 52mm thread on the flattener, might be 53mm, can't remember, nor did I worry about distances to the flattener as I was only guiding with it.

Hi Graham - you should have all the bits to get it going - assuming the SSAG has a 1.25" nosepiece. You will need the long extension piece or a diagonal - but it should reach focus. There might even be a mark on the drawtube where my QHY5's focus was...

Cheers

SSAG and TAK FV 60 C

Cheers Adman- have not had any first light with either new purchase yet as so cloudy down here, but good to know I have the necessary for using it as a guide scope- I think I need the SD ring for using a QHY 8 though? (that's what Claudio Said anyway)
