What did I see?

Is this an easily visible (With eyes) Globular near Sagittarius? I looked through a scope last Saturday and saw a very nice Globular where even in Toowoombas light polluted skies you could easily resolve some stars. In what I thought was the exact same place in the sky I thought I could see it with the unaided eye, but when I got home to look up what I saw, I could only find Globulars that would be way to dim to see with the level of light pollution let alone easily viewable to the unaided eye. It was pretty fuzzy but seemed to have a core. Does anyone know what it is that I could have seen?

I'd second M22, its a nice globular that starts to readily begin to resolve in 70mm refractor from the northern suburbs of Adelaide. It is also a favourite of my daughter's for its ease in finding and quality of return on viewing.
