Reprocess of a steller nursery

Hi again all

This is a reprocess of a shot that was taken from Coonabarabran last August new moon and hopefully I did a better job this time round.

Object: M8-NGC 6559-IC 1274 & 0thers

Telescope: FSQ106N

Camera: SXVF-M25c

Mount: AP600E

Exposures: 21 x 10 minutes guided

Sofware: Astroart 4 & CS3

Very nice Louie.

In some ways the FSQED was a step backward from the 106N.
The 106N gives better colour and has a better focuser and lock mechanism.

The best thing about the 106ED is the reducer you can get for it. But I
remain sceptical that the new coatings Tak used on its FSQ106ED lens are ideal for astrophotography as they seem to block or tone down colour unlike the 106N with its dual fluorite which gives rich colour.

Thanks for taking the time Greg...I didn't notice any difference between them but different glass and coating there would have to be.
