Hi all
I've been thinking of getting a 'proper' eyepiece and have narrowed my choices down to the baader hyperion series as a 'not too expensive' option. But which one??

Anyway I had to go shopping with my wife earlier in the week...

and while she was in a very interesting shop(not), I went to look in a pawn shop and would you believe the ONLY piece of telescopic equipment they had was a BAADER hyperion 13mm eyepiece for just over $100.00

I presume you grabbed it at that cost - have you had it out yet?

Yep I bought it....the view of M42 was spectacular much brighter and sharper than the plossl's I have been using, great for viewing the moon too

I have the 13mm Hyperion as well, a very nice EP, nice find.

The 13mm Hyp was my favourite in the series
