Observing Jupiter tonight?

The Bird Strike is at transit right about now, catch it if you can.

Also if you're up late, Io and Europa have a bit of fun later.

There's an occultation at about 2:20am, and a shadow transit about 30 minutes before that.

I'm not sure i'll last till then.. high clouds, trees and tiredness are likely to all hit me before then.

Oh man, there was a thunderstorm here last night....

Sounds like it would've been a fun night. Last Sat (25th) I saw the impact mark and a couple of moons passed close enough to almost touch limbs.
