Torchwood Children of Earth

If any one saw it, what are your views on it?

it certainly fills in how or why capt jack went out into the universe. one way to shelve torchwood i suppose. certainly questions ones beliefs or moral standings with a few challenges to the normal human responses

Caught the last episode only last week on UKTV - enjoyed it!
I'm not a fan of Torchwood but found this to be watchable for the reasons houghy alludes to...the tone of the writing and acting has a darker quality than I remembered from seeing previous episodes.

Although I just toe-dipped so to speak, one could "feel" the back stories of the characters through some not too shabby performances which
made the premise of the government handing over children to alien junkies seem a bit more real than the whole hocum sounds!!!

A good hours worth of escapism.

I've only seen the first season of Torchwood, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I must remember to get this on DVD.

the first, second and third episodes were good, and the fifth (last) episode was really enjoyable. The overall themes were well played out, especially the discussions in the cabinet rooms between the politicians and military.

Episode 4, however, confirmed for me that Captain Jack was just a bit useless, really.

A satisfying ending to a good show.

I hate the fact ABC2 are repeating the first season and don't mention the fact they are repeats in the TV guide

Like the show gritty adult no BS type much like "Firefly" was

I'll second that, although I'd watch it just for Gwen and her English accent......
