they are definately a goer for the eq mounts etc

i think guys with dobs, the $200 for a chair is probabley the last piece of investment compared to any old chair

when the eyepiece is up high with a eq mount, then that is where i believe they will come to the fore.

they look the goods!

I would like to get something like this, especially for observing trips.

In a move mostly to increase my post count...I bring this back to the top of the list...also, I'll be making a final decision on these by mid next week.

Thanks All!

I am going to order some...I've gotten a bit distracted with my full time job over the last few weeks so I have been a bit lax in chasing this up.

I don't have an ETA yet or anything like that...I am confident that I will not get this all done before Christmas...I am shooting for having this all done by SPSP at the latest...

Thanks for your interest!

Just let us know when when they're arriving.
If they make it for SPSP, that would be great.

Hey! Ving, does it work like a whoopee cushion and moo when you sit on it?

Hey just rang bintel to get one of these they are out of stock, but they assured me that they will have some more delivered tomorrow. Great product, I tested Rocket boy's at SPSP and it took my weight and was very comfortable. looking forward to getting it to take to Queensland Astrofest 2006

I agree, tested RB's as well and it's really comfy, and folds up nice and small (flat).

These seats are very strong.
I was observing the other night using the 12" LX200 and needed to use the hair dryer to clear the corrector plate. I couln't reach it so I stood on the Stellar Seat. Took my weight no probs.

Kid's love it too. Here's some pics.

That's not me BTW in the 3rd shot, it's my son AJ.

As Henry Ford once said of the model T...you can have any colour that you want...as long as it is black...sorry black is the only colour choice available

Bintel now has stock on hand...

and FYI Astronomy On Line does too

for those that have seen me, you will understand the following:

"my small dainty buttocks fits nicely and is well supported by this little seat! If it works for me it will work for anyone. It has my seat of approval"

mate, they can use that quote from me anywhere! Top seat. I received mine on Saturday.
