Which moon is in transit with jupiter tonight??

Just took the 10" dob out for a quick peek at Jupiter, was in good seeing lots of detail but i notice one of the moons was in transit which was extra bonus seeing the shadow it was casting as it is first time i have seen it through the my dob which i purchased last November, so there we go, i got very excited for 20 mins then the dew spoilt the party, it is such an awesome experiance the first time witnessing these things in realtime..

I followed the complete transit via the LPI.
Forgot how much fun these transits can be.
Wonder when the next double is?

Stuart,
I use Jupiter 2 software for Jupiter's moon transit information - including planning for upcoming ones, as well as going back to see "what moon was that".

Great tool!
