For users of in-car nav units who are tired of the standard voices... comes...

Homer for TomTom.

Oh dear. LOL!

How long it'd last on my TomTom I don't know - but it's at least humorous. I can imagine that the rights to the voice character wouldn't have been cheap to TomTom.

Haha. Very amusing. Hubby Frank has a Garmin with an Aussie female voice. Of course he thinks he's hilarious and says she's his favourite as when she tells him where to go, or he has finished with her, he can just switch her off!!

I love it. If I owned one, this is what I'd put on it.

Some other suggestions for GPS/Tom Tom character voices?

The Simpsons
- Moe
- Ralph Wiggum
- Professor Frink
- Mrs. Krabappel (HA!)

Kath and/or Kim - Would be appropriate for some drivers in <insert Melbourne Suburb>. Noice!)

- Yoda? "Left turn you must make, mmmm?"

I have John Cleese on my TomTom. Takes the boredom out of driving.

Oh, yes, Basil Fawlty would be an excellent choice of voice!

(in Basil's abrupt manner) "Well? What are you waiting for? TURN LEFT! (*tisk*)"
