Question PEC for dumbies?

I've had my first play with PEC for my HEQ5Pro this weekend using PERecorder with the PE curve loaded back into EQMod.

My question is about how smart is the synchronising on these mounts under EQMOD? There's mention in the instructions that is should be resynched (?manually - haven't read how to do that yet) or perhaps more easily just re-recorded (55 mins!) if you fail to Park the mount at the end of the session.

Sure enough I crashed my mount while foolin' around tonight, and noticed when I got things up again the PEC was unticked. I expect that means I have to do something clever again?

Have never bothered with PEC with PhD, but thought I'd like to run EQMOD ASCOM pulse guiding with it on for a few sessions to get a feel for any difference it makes.

Any info appreciated!

Yes - I did join up ages ago and that's good advice. I should nip over and see if there's anything there.
