Nice imaging presentation

Stumbled across this while researching PEC for those that may not have seen. I certainly learned lots.

I'd never thought about polar alignment mainly helping in Dec and PEC being in RA. Plenty of useful concepts to help with imaging.

Wow that was one amazing eye opening presentation. Thanks very much Rob. The problem I had was though i new some of those issues and concepts from reading and talking to others. But i did not understand how those small things fit into the big picture. The presentation by Richard puts all the small issues into perspective for capturing good data.

I reccomend all who are contemplating Imaging to watch this.

Another important thing this presentation highlights, why this hobby is expensive. The methods disscussed to correct problems are not cheap. But somethings i think can be done even on smaller budgets.

However Adaptive Optics seems to have been left out of this presentation, I would have thought that this might be covered. Given all the

One side note, I Cant find the Powerpoint slides Richard mentions at the end of the presentation. These are supposed to have further information in them.

Fahim

Looks good. I had a bit of a flick through and will take a closer look later. Sound quality is a bit off--pity.
