will the GSO 8x50 Right Angle finderscope slide into where the red dot finder goes? or do i need to change the base plate..? if so will this be possible, do the screw holes line up?

thanks

The GSO RA finder will slide right on. That's what I generally use.

I found the standard LB RDF ordinary too; fitted a RACI finder and a Rigel quik finder...much better imo

the quikfinder/telrad is a good idea.. maybe I'll get one of them to go with the finderscope. which one though! is that a question for another thread?

The Telrad is probably a bit better to use in terms of ease of use in regards to eye placement IMO; the quikfinder however is lighter, has a smaller footprint, is raised off the OTA and comes standard with the light pulse mode.

Yup the RDF on the LB has to be the worst design in the world. Why would they make the adjustment screws and allan key? Trying to make fine adjustments to it in the dark is a night mare.
