PEMPro and Losmandy Titan

Hi all,

I have just downloaded PEMPro and am trying to get it to interface with my losmandy titan mount.. Is there an ascom driver or something i need to get?

I've had excellent performance out of the mount without PEC but hey, if i can get it to perform better then why not!!

If you contact CCDWare or Ray Gralak, the author of Pempro, I'm sure he'd be able to sort it out.

I was kinda hoping someone else with a similar set-up could give me a nudge in the right direction fairly quickly..

I think you will need both the Gemini Driver and Ascom5 platform.
Have a look at this yahoo group posting

One other thing to watch out for if you are using a USB to Serial adapter, is that often when plugged in the Com Port number assigned can change. But this can cause problems with Ascom finding your mount.

Hi Fahim,

I have my mount connected directly through a com port.. as it turns out I had the wrong ascom driver for the gemini control system, so everything is working as it should now..

Cheers for your help
