some of the projects on here look fantastic, and i was wonderin, where do you get your gear from? is it canabalised from around? or is it ordered from overseas?

is there somewhere in Oz, that sells a huge Achromat?

I think you'll find it is a bit of all of the above. www.surplusshed.com in the US has a reasonable selection (when available). And depending on the exchange rate of the day.
