Superb 10" Newtonian Astrograph with Carbon Fibre Tube

I'm putting up for sale my 10" Newtonian Astrograph with the following features:

10" F5 Swayze Mirror, centre spotted in superb condition
Custom Carbon Fibre tube
FeatherTouch 2 Speed, 2" focuser with 3" travel
Novak 9 Point Mirror Cell
3.1" High quality secondary for minimum vignetting
Vixen Rings attached to a Losmandy dovetail bar

I've been using this scope with a STL11000XM and it has plenty of back focus, it can also accommodate the Televue coma corrector (for sale seperately).

In all respects, this is a superb scope for imaging. Focus does not change night after night - truly set and forget.

Price: $1400, this compares with $10,000 for some specialist Newtonian imaging systems, albeit of much shorter focal length. Which I guess is another point, and the reason I got this scope in the first place; the image scale of this scope is well suited for imaging DSO's with medium format CCD cameras.

I'll try to take some images of the scope this weekend and put them up.

If you email me I can send a couple of recent test shots I took (they are too large to put on here), they are both single 1/2 hour exposures, no flats, darks, bias frames, just a bit of playing around with PhotoShop.

Hi,

How old is the mirror and what type of coatings does it have?

Also, do you know the weight of the OTA please?

To answer your questions:

1. I dont know the age
2,. I was told it had spectrum coatings but they usually put a sticker on the back of the mirror which this one dosent have
3. Weight of the scope is approx 11.5Kg according to my scales
