Anyone ever seen one while observing? Perhaps an impact on the non-lit side of the Moon at other than Full Moon would be easiest to observe?

Very interesting.

Wont be long and there will be amateurs with their telescopes trained on the moon all the time to capture these chaps.

These things have been noted for a while, there are video observers that do this throughout meteor showers, to try and capture these events! Interesting!!!!
