Partial Solar Eclipse from Sydney

Hi,

I went with the 600mm mirror lens and Baadar Solar Film. Up until 5 minutes before the eclipse I had a really big gap in the clouds (as seen in picture 1). As it started though, the clouds started getting in the way. Crap shots from there on.

Oh well, it was my first solar eclipse and I enjoyed it .

Pentax *ist DS @ 600mm with Baadar Solar Film and varying shutter speeds (depending on how much cloud). Colour was added in PS via Photo Filter.

Regards

Daniel...

Hi,

Tried combining the images. They probably would have been better if they were lined up, but a good first attempt.

Regards

Great work Daniel.

You can be proud of those shots. I didnt get any from Gosford. A storm came over just before the Eclipse started up here.
I took a few photos but only got clouds with no detail at all.

Well done. Keep up the good work.
