Just a heads up for those looking for a eq mount, came accross this on the optcorp site. Looks like a 500$ rebate on the Vixens Sphinx SXD. I wonder if this will be available through local retailers.

I suspect it is a rebate from their current North American distributor?
However on that note I can't remember ever receiving a single money back cheque for one of these types of offers in my four years in California, despite sending many off. There are (or at least were when I left) loopholes in the system over there that allow them to claim you will get a rebate, but they don't have to actually send it.
Is the system much better for that here, or do dealers just not offer that type of thing? I guess I've seen a few rebate offers from Canon, but none anywhere else.
