my new crayford focuser

Here's what popped up in the mail today....a brand new 2" / 1.25" crayford focuser!!!...
After I get some sleep after worrying that I wasn't EVER going to get it, (it took 20 days to get here) and no, I didn't lose sleep for 20 days ...LOL, I will wake up and install it on my 12" reflector !!! I feel like a kid today !!!...Just one thing I need to know...Is there any websites that I can find a Manual for this thing?....I didn't get it from a store, I purchased it off somebody on Astromart. Thanks.

Looks nice, will it fit into the existing mounting holes of your R&P, or will you have to drill into the tube?

Unless you can find some mounting kit templates you'll just have to do your best to mark it accurately before you drill

I just installed it and the existing holes were exactly the same...so there was NO DRILLING required.

You were a bit luckier than me Mark, mine needed some drilling but that is not too bad. However, it would be great to have an idea of what the knobs do instead of just finding out through trial and error. No manual with mine either.

Mine came with the scope from Bintel.

But I think Andrews are the cheapest. I highly recommend this focuser.
For its price its the best value for money you can buy in a focuser.

But the Moonlite Focusers are better at a price
