CGE hand controller extension cable

Well now that I have owned this mount for a while, I have only one complaint with it. The hand controller cable is far too short. In fact it is only 1.5 feet long. Not nearly enough and I am looking to find an extension cable.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these. I have checked with all the major retailers and hunted around the ones here in Australia. No one seems to make them, but I might have missed something.

Anyone with any tips would be most appreciated.

What sort of connector is it?
If it's RJ12 style then you can pick up adaptors and extension cables from a number of sources. Here's one:

Unfortunately telephone cable does not work. I tried that one already, but thanks for the link.
