Recommend Filters (Colour) Please

Hi All,

I'm considering buying a few colour filters to enhance views of the planets. With Mars getting close and memories of Jupiter with a smaller scope it seems like the next logical purchase.

Q: if using 1.25" eyepieces is the advantage of getting a 2" filter that it can be mounted into the focuser and thus save a whole lot of trouble when switching eyepieces?. Might be upgrading focuser soon too?

What brands and colours would be worthwhile - guess how long is a piece of string too, but assuming lowish budget but hate buying junk and 3-4 would suffice.

Many thanks Team Ice members

2" filters won't fit in a 1.25" filter wheel
