Grey Scale to Flats

Hi Guys, I was informed just recently that when you have taken your Flats, and have created a Master Flat that it should be Grey scaled before use, is this the case, or is it OK to use the master Flat as it was taken.

I ask this because as you probably know, if one takes flats with out a light box they, the Flats are sometimes, of different shades or grey, and even a little blue at times.

Thank You in response to my question.

Hi Leon

If you have used ImagesPlus, when your Flat's are converted, they are automatically scaled for you, your Master Flat is ready to go.

Cheers
