M42 Once again, different Equipment

Hi again guys.
Okay, ive come to the realisation that i really should learn how to shoot single shot colour before i venture off in to the world of LRGB imaging.

So, i plugged the DSI into the guide scope and pulled out the SAC10 style 3.3 MP camera.

Got some nice shots at 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 300s, 600s, 900s, 1000s (Max, cant figure out if it is a S/W ma or H/W max though)

Ive spent the last 12 hours fiddling in CS3 trying to make HDR work, no go though.

Basically I have absolutly no idea what i am doing, Someone took my B/W photos before and made the stars less blobby, how did you do that ?

I was also told that when imaging m42 lots of differing exposures would allow good detail in the nebulosity while being able to see the nebulas core, and the trapezium.

How can i do this ? Ive searched for Howtos, read the HDR tut on this site, im still very confused though, although i am excited about how good some of these shots turned out.

Thanks again.
Scott
