M8 Lagoon Nebula - Imaging Beginners

Hi,

Here is our first image attempt as beginners.

It is the M8 Lagoon Nebula. I know, probably done to death!

Framing wasn't the greatest.

All up was about 10 - 12 minutes of data from memory.

Location: Adelaide Southern Suburbs
Sky: Bortle 5
Seeing: Average
OTA: 50mm f/4.8
Mount: ALT AZ
Camera: Player One MC IMX462
Filter: ZWO Duo Filter
Stacked .FIT Files: 111
Software: Siril & Touch up in PS

Hardest thing I found was photoshop, really need to build some skills here. Lots of YouTube watching and tutorial reading ahead of us.

Thanks for looking

Re-mastered m8 Version (maybe?)

Hi IIS Fam,

Since we have learnt a few new tricks, we thought we would have another look at this m8 image again and see if we can enhance it a little.

Well, at least get the grain out of it.

We are not too sure on this one?

Thanks

Helen & James
